ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
In its most simple and concise definition, an allegory is when a piece of visual or narrative media uses one thing to “stand in for another”. In this instance, there is not a particularly subtle allegory to understand in the main characters of the story, but there are subplots (Yo Felix). Working with models to obtain my working references, for the most part, you quite often get a serendipitous image with a certain something that you have to use. That was the case here. I just had to paint that amazing leg formation.
