ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
I came across an international photographer whose work I felt really hit the nail on the head in terms of conveying feelings and emotions in his images. I particularly liked this image and sought permission to reference as a painting. The title is mine, and I’ve changed some elements to transition the original photograph into a painting that I hope creates its own projection of “I’ve got it all under control and life is cool” I have a print of it hanging in my studio, and I know that whenever I look at it, it has an instant calming effect. The original painting won People’s Choice in a large art prize.
